Giuseppe Faranda Cordella – Founder & CEO

Got a master degree in Computer Science at Turin University and he is a senior executive with an experience of over 25 years in the design and development of automotive electronics, connected car services and vehicle cybersecurity. In his career he is been working in different roles in leading automotive companies either as an OEM or a Tier1 suppliers. In recent years he served as head of research and development and VP of infotainment for a large OEM in Europe. In the last few years he was appointed head of Vehicle Cybersecurity for leading OEM in EMEA, managing the introduction of digital protection countermeasures in connected cars.


Cataldo Basile is a senior researcher at Politecnico di Torino and also a member of  the TORino SECurity Group of the Department of Automation and Computer Science.As principal investigator and coordinator of activities in the field of policy-based security management and software security research, Cataldo Basile carries out research with two main objectives: to automate or semi-automate the analysis and mitigation of risks within risks within computer networks (traditional, industrial, automotive), and to model software threats and attacks for the development of protections and remote attestation methods.

Accademically, he is currently teaching the courses “Security Verification and Testing”, “Cryptography” and “Security of Information Systems”, of which he is the title holder, and he is a student supervisor for master’s degrees and PhDs.

He is responsible for the Student Team pwnthem0le which is  specialized in offensive security, participates in internation CTF competitions and organizes the m0lecon conference. He has done and still performs activities of research support and as an advisor for companies and start-ups.

Gianfranco Burzio – Automotive Safety & Security Advisor   

Large Experience in the automotive field, in innovation projects related to the development of advanced driver assistance systems, preventive safety functions and autonomous driving. Deep knowledge of vehicle safety regulatory framework (UN-ECE) and NCAP test and assessment protocols.
